Processing of personal data

eMobility AS will collect and use personal data about you for different purposes, depending on who you are and how we get in touch with you. We collect the following personal data for these purposes:

When we answer questions, either by phone or the contact form on our website: name, telephone number, e-mail and any other personal information that may follow from the dialogue.We process personal data according to a balance of interest, where the consideration to answer your questions is crucial.

Booking: name, telephone number, e-mail, driving licence and any other personal information that may result from the dialogue. This information is necessary for us to be able to fulfil our agreement with you.

Information regarding accident, loss, theft or damage to the vehicle during rental or other mechanical failure: We collect information about such an incident, including your report of the incident and possibly the reports from the police or other third parties, details of those involved, as well as the art of personal injuries and / or damage to the vehicle and accessories in question. This information is necessary for us to fulfil our agreement with you and take care of our legitimate business interests (for example, by redressing the costs of loss or damage caused by the vehicle). The information is also necessary for us to be able to fulfil any statutory obligations (for example, to notify relevant authorities) and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims arising as a result of such an event.

Information about rough driving, parking, tolls, or other traffic-related fines that you incur, or other traffic offenses you commit during rental, where we receive the information from a law enforcement body. We use this information to handle fines or other misconduct in accordance with the terms of your lease agreement with us.

We use cookies to obtain information about the use of our websites. We process personal data based on a balance of interests. This is necessary for us to be able to adapt the website to our users. We still take care of your privacy by only using the information for statistics. It is not possible to identify you as an individual in these statistics.

We will not process personal data going beyond this without obtaining your prior consent.

Storage period
We will store your personal information as long as it is necessary for the purpose of collecting the personal information. This means, for example, that personal data processed by us with your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent. Personal information that we process to fulfil an agreement with you will be deleted when the agreement and all the obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled.

Disclosure of personal information to others
We do not pass on your personal information to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. An example ofsuch a basis is if we have an agreement with you about it, or if we receive a legal order to provide us with personal information. eMobility AS uses data processors to collect, store and process personal information on our behalf. We have entered into agreements to ensure that the information is secure in all parts of the processing.

Rights
You have the right to access and correct or delete the personal information we have about you. You also have the right to require limited processing, to object to the processing and to be provided with the information we have about you (right to data portability).

To exercise your rights, you are requested to send an e-mail to post@emob.no. We will respond to your email as soon as possible and no later than 30 days following our reception.

Complaints
If you believe that the way we process your personal data does not correspond to what we have explained here, or that we in other ways violate the privacy legislation, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.You will find information on how to contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority on their website www.datatilsynet.no

Amendments
If we change our services or amendments are made to the regulations on the processing of personal data, we may have to change the information you have received here. If we have your contact information, we will notify you of these changes. Updated information will otherwise always be readily available on our website.
